I shouldn't have to spell out why I feel like America has been on a trajectory towards fascism ever since Trump took office for the second time. From the numerous concentration camps being built, to the many deaths of Americans and immigrants at the hands of ICE & CBP. The right wing takeover of media. To how Trump acts like a dictator and ignores the powers vested in the other two branches of the US government.
But, where do we go next. What are they planning to do?
It seems like many actions taken over the past year have been right out of Hitler's playbook. Almost verbatim copying the path they followed to terrorize Germany and consolidate power. In some ways Maga is moving more slowly than the Nazis did, but in many ways they are moving faster too.
So what is the Trump regime missing still? A Reichstag fire and a subsequent Enabling Act. As well as dissolving the other branches, and eliminating the opposition party (Dems).
This could come about many ways potentially. They could simply use the Iran war to impose emergency war powers, but that would mean Congress would have to officially declare war. And I haven't seen any movement from the Republicans pushing for such a declaration yet.
They could incite some kind of tragedy at a big protest and try and frame the protestors for doing something incredibly destructive. But if that's the plan, why didn't they already do it last weekend during No Kings 3?
The other option is they continue down the path they've been on. Piss more people off with the behavior coming from DHS. Do increasingly more heinous things. All in hopes they can push Americans to the breaking point and a civil war breaks out. And if it never does, then they just keep increasing the authoritarianism until all the frogs are boiled.
Whatever their plan is, they feel cocky enough to leave the take over of America on auto-pilot for now, while most focus in on Iran.
But at some point they will resume. They need to conquer their enemies at home before the Donroe Doctrine gets put into full effect. Once they feel like their local power is complete, they will move on to expansion.
Trump has already made threats to Canada, Greenland, Mexico, Panama, Cuba, and a number of South American nations. And of course you can't forget how we started the new year off in Venezuela. He's slow rolling it, but I fully assume once Iran cools down, this will become top priority. I only see acceleration going forward.
The ultimate goal is for the US to take total control of the entirety of the Americas. Whether some become new "states", and some are simply territories is anybody's guess. Although Argentina seems like they would be first in line for that 51st state status, no fighting, just a quick enthusiastic opt in.
So how do we stop all of this? First off we must make sure half or more of the population is aware of what is really going on. And then I think we've got two options more or less. Either execute a massive, well organized general strike to hit them in their wallets as we demand Trump and MAGA all be expelled from the government. Or form/join a militia and work on your target practice and drone skills (both manufacturing and operating).
That may sound bleak, but I can not see Trump giving up power again. He won't go peacefully. We already saw his ambitions on January 6th, 2021. He seems intent to stay president until he dies. And in this second term his allies are much more well organized.
And so what's the long term plan? Expect America to continue down the path of decline, while the surveillance state rises. For most of America's history the states managed their own IDs and datasets. The system was designed to be distributed rather than centralized for exactly the scenario we're in now. But for over 20 years projects like Real ID have been looking to change that. Couple that with networked cameras all across the country and the global push for age verification schemes and we are heading directly toward an Orwellian future.
Not long after being named head of Health and Human Services, RFK Jr. proclaimed he wanted to see every American wearing smart watches and other devices "for your health". It will start as an advisory, then they will start giving them out for free, then one day they will be mandatory.
Now most of us are carrying smartphones around with us already and they can do the job of tracking us well, but wearables make sure it pretty much never leaves your person.
And I believe the Stargate mega data center project is related to all of this. It seems bigger than just a simple AI trainer and host. They are looking to have high precision, real time tracking of every American in place within the next couple years. Nvidia has been promoting the idea of "digital twin" systems over the past few years for tracking machines and inventory within a warehouse environment. I believe they are taking this concept to the next level to track all of America.
Now a quick clarification, some of the kookier conspiracy theorists out there think it's about making copies of people or something, but that is ridiculous. This comes from a place of not understanding how computers work and magical thinking. Digital twin does not mean they are making digital clones of people, just that a virtual avatar represents them and their position within the system. It's for tracking and monitoring.
So I covered a lot in this post, but to sum it up. The American government will be tightening its grip on the public, and will continue to consolidate power until only one party remains and they have full control. Voices will be silenced, and more innocent people will be imprisoned as our civil liberties and the old laws fade away. And fighting back won't be easy.
